Do you want to make a real difference when it matters most?

Join Marie Curie's Urgent Hospice Care at Home team based out of our Edinburgh Hospice and help provide compassionate, responsive care to people living with terminal illness across the Lothians during the night, when support is needed most.

What you will be doing:
You will work closely with Registered Nurses, NHS colleagues and our wider Hospice Care at Home service, you'll play a vital role in delivering urgent care and reassurance to patients and their families in the comfort of their own homes. From responding to calls and coordinating support, to travelling with a Registered Nurse to provide hands-on care, no two shifts are the same. This is a rewarding opportunity to be part of a dedicated team that helps people remain comfortable, supported and cared for at home, making a meaningful difference during some of life's most challenging moments.

What we’re looking for:
Minimum of 6 months’ experiencedelivering care in a health or social care setting

Full UK driving licenceand access to your own vehicle NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care(or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this qualification

Anurturing and compassionate approach, with excellent communication skills

The ability towork independentlywhile being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 £26,696 to £28,988 pro rata per annum plus generous enhancements for night shifts, weekends and public holidays

Contract: 20 hours per week Permanent Part Time
