What we offer our Community Care Assistants:

  • Week Day Salary: Starting from £13.85 per hour
  • Weekend Salary: Starting from £14.50 per hour
  • £19.88 per hour on bank holidays
  • 35p mileage allowance

Working Hours:

Evening Hours - Must also be able to offer at least one weekend every other weekend.

Dependent on their Care Plan, duties may include:

  • Personal care and hygiene support
  • Medication administration
  • Light housekeeping
  • Meal preparation
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Grocery shopping and errands
  • Encouraging and supporting clients to engage in daily activities
  • Accompanying clients to appointments or social outings

Requirements of a Community Care Assistant:

  • Hours available: Evening Hours and Weekends
  • Driving Licence: Must hold a full UK or EU/EEA driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
  • Attitude: A genuine passion for helping others, with a positive and reliable approach to teamwork
  • Willingness to Learn: Full training is provided, including a free enhanced DBS check, induction, and ongoing support

Preferred (but not essential) Experience:

  • Previous experience in domiciliary, assisted living, or nursing home care
  • Skills in supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or end-of-life care
  • First aid certification
  • Experience with meal prep or medication handling

If you have experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, Carer, HCA, Healthcare Assistant, or within the NHS, we would love to hear from you. No previous experience? No problem — we provide full training and induction to help you feel confident and supported in your new role.

We have welcomed people from a wide range of backgrounds, including retail, customer service, hairdressing and beauty, administration, cleaning, warehouse work, and delivery driving.
