Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Peterborough, Whittlesey and Wisbech . This role is vital in providing exceptional home care services that align with our mission to improve clients' quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication management.
  • Develop and update individual care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition.
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
  • Support the delivery of tailored care services that promote independence and well-being.
  • Qualifications
  • Proven experience or interest in home care or healthcare settings.
  • Valid driving license and ability to travel between client locations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Ability to follow care plans accurately.
  • Compassionate, patient, and reliable nature.
  • Basic IT skills for documentation purposes.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to home care.
  • Prior experience working with elderly or vulnerable populations is advantageous.
