Full job description

Full time assistant manager required to support existing management team.

We are an innovative community service seeing NHS gynaecology patients within Herts Valleys and Barnet CCGs.

The role is varied and will involve significant administrative and telephone duties along with some face to face contact with patients. There will also be responsibilities for managing staff rotas and staff training requirements, consultant clinic rotas and capacity management and stock control.

Candidates must have excellent customer facing skills as well as being proficient in IT. Training will be given on the IT system used but candidates must be familiar with all Microsoft Office programmes.

Candidates must have a willingness to learn, strong attention to detail, be well organised and have a flexible proactive approach to work.

As well as the above, the role will involve an element of monthly data management as well as implementing policies and protocols, ensuring adherence to all statutory NHS requirements and supporting the Service Manager in delivering a high quality service.

The role is based in London Colney, but will involve some travel to satellite clinics so a car is essential.

The role is primarily Mon-Fri but does involve up to 2 weekend day shifts per month. The average hours will therefore be 45hrs per week full time.

Previous work in the NHS is not essential but helpful.

Previous senior admin/management experience is helpful.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £17.00 per hour
