Job Summary

Intermedical (UK) Ltd is a leading UK supplier and service provider of medical devices, supporting the NHS, private healthcare providers, occupational health services, and commercial organisations nationwide. We are committed to delivering exceptional customer service, technical excellence, and quality through our ISO 13485 certified quality management system.

We are looking for a motivated and organised Medical Device Service and Repair Operative to join our growing Service Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced technical environment. Full product training will be provided.

Responsibilities

As a Medical Device Service and Repair Operative, you will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operation of our busy medical device service centre. Working alongside our Service Engineers and Customer Service team, you will help ensure medical equipment is processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company quality procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect medical devices for service and repair.
  • Prepare service documentation and maintain accurate electronic records.
  • Assist with the repair, calibration and maintenance activities.
  • Prepare quotations, service reports and customer documentation.
  • Liaise with customers regarding service updates and equipment returns.
  • Manage spare parts and consumable stock levels.
  • Support the Service Manager with departmental administration.
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with ISO 13485 quality procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
