The Trust are recruiting to our apprenticeship programme for Emergency Medical Technicians for 2027. Please see the attached sector preference form for locations.
Upon joining the Trust, staff will be paid based on a Band 4 NHS training rate of pay for a two-year apprenticeship, starting salary will be £25,272 (based on 26/27 NHS pay scales). Upon completion of your apprenticeship, you will be eligible to move onto a full Emergency Medical Technician contract of employment. The salary for this will be Band 4 which is £28,392 - £31,157 per annum plus an appropriate unsocial hour’s payment under section 2 for Agenda for Change terms and conditions.
Further detailed information on the role can be found on the ‘FAQ document’ attached to this advert. Please note that we cannot guarantee that a vacancy will be available at your local ambulance station, but if successful we will aim to place you as close to your home address as possible depending on where the vacancies are.
Please do not apply if you do not have the C1 provisional on your licence when you click submit on your application.
Please note you will need to provide your qualifications prior to the shortlisting stage. If you do not have the certificates, you will need to request them from the exam boards.
