About us

Moss Street Surgery:

A Medium sized general practice surgery with a wide range of staff.

Working Hours:

25 1/2 Hours Per week + Overtime

Additional hours for Holiday and sickness cover

General Purpose

Attend to patients on the phone and in person. Coordinate and organise appointments and documentation to facilitate the smooth running of the healthcare environment and support delivery of quality patient care.

Main Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • greet patients
  • register patients according to established protocols
  • ensure patient information is accurate including billing information
  • maintain and manage patient records
  • answer incoming calls and deal with inquiries
  • schedule patient appointments
  • obtain external medical reports as required by medical professionals
  • respond and comply to requests for information
  • deal with incoming and outgoing post
  • complete other clerical duties as assigned
  • ensure reception area is well maintained, neat and clean
  • safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour
