Full job description

Nurse (2–3 shifts per month) wanted at UK Vein Care in Scotland (Glasgow/Livingston)

Are you an experienced nurse looking to join the largest clinic group for varicose vein treatment in Europe? UK Vein Care operates a number of clinics across the UK, specialising in and leading the way in varicose vein treatment. We are now looking for a skilled nurse on a flexible basis (expected 2–3 shifts per month) for our clinics in Scotland.

The role is primarily based at our clinics in Scotland, including Glasgow & Livingston. Any travel is always planned well in advance — typically 1–3 months or more — so you can arrange your schedule with plenty of notice.

At UK Vein Care, our staff bring a high level of expertise, and we work continuously to develop it further in order to meet the high ambitions we set for ourselves. Your work will primarily involve the day-to-day running of the clinic, as well as assisting during procedures.

UK Vein Care is part of Nordic Health Group, which operates clinics across several European countries. We are a company that makes room for personal development, so there is real scope to fulfil your ambitions to grow and take on more responsibility if you wish. We place great value on quality, efficiency, and professional development. We also invest in developing our people's skills, so you will be part of an organisation that can help you build your professional capabilities.

We offer:

  • An exciting and development-focused position as a nurse

  • Independent work with a high level of responsibility, in close collaboration with our surgeons

  • Competitive pay and good working conditions

  • Work involving varicose vein treatments at the highest level, using modern endovenous methods

  • A pleasant working environment with skilled colleagues

As a member of the UK Vein Care team, you place great importance on collaboration and quality in nursing care. You are motivated by ensuring that patients experience a positive, safe, and seamless process, even on busy days. Our goal is to deliver the best possible varicose vein treatment, with satisfied patients and staff alike.

We therefore expect that you:

  • Are reliable, loyal, and able to take responsibility

  • Want to put treatment quality first and take pride in ensuring we deliver the very best care

  • Thrive in a varied, changing day-to-day environment at a clinic with high patient flow

  • Can work independently and with commitment, and contribute to optimising and developing our processes

  • Have a genuine interest in people and always keep the patient in focus. We place great emphasis on responsibility and on your ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Working hours/duration: Working hours are flexible and arranged around mutual needs, at around 2–3 shifts per month.

Start date: As soon as possible

Pay: Competitive pay and conditions.
