We're looking for a Security Officer to join our team at based at Central Clinic Dudley.

About the role

• 37.5 hours per week
• Shift pattern runs on an 8week rota, covering days, nights, and weekends, totalling 37.5 hours per week. Monday Sunday - Days: 6am6pm/Nights: 6pm6am.
• Pay £27,140 per annum
• DBS required/ Full manual UK driving licence required
• This is a mobile role covering multiple locations including Wolverhampton, Walsall, Rugeley, Tamworth, Lichfield, and parts of Birmingham.

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining the safety and security of NHS Property Services sites, protecting people and property, preventing crime, and responding to incidents in line with policies and procedures.

What you'll be doing

• Conduct frequent vehicle and foot patrols of NHS PS sites.
• Identify and report operational security issues; support improvements and implement new procedures with approval.
• Lock/unlock areas, manage intruder alarms, and investigate activations.
• Report maintenance issues such as faulty lighting, locks, or access systems.
• Act in accordance with fire procedures, direct Fire Services, and assist with evacuations.
• What we're looking for
• SIA Public Space Surveillance (CCTV) licence
• SIA Door supervision Licence
• Knowledge of incident management systems/processes.
• Knowledge of control and restraint and breakaway procedures; basic knowledge of the law
• Knowledge of health and Safety, first Aid and Fire Safety, business continuity when dealing with a major incident, incident management and manual handling procedures.
