The Role - Entertainments Coordinator (Live)

The UKs Number 1 Students’ Union is looking for an Entertainments Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing Foundry’s live music programme, alongside a varied programme of one-off and recurring club nights and events.

In this role, you will take full ownership of the in-house marketing, promotion, and delivery of our live music programme. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of events, including diary management, artist confirmations, event advancing, duty management, post-event settlements, and financial reporting, whilst developing and maintaining strong working relationships with local and national promoters. The successful candidate will be confident in overseeing events operationally, ensuring they are delivered safely, legally, and in accordance with venue policies and licensing requirements.

You will be joining the team responsible for delivering all events across Sheffield SU and Foundry, including live gigs, comedy, Roar, Pop Tarts, Grapefruit, and many other well-known nightclub brands. As part of this team, you will play a key role in developing new event concepts, inclusive and engaging experiences, and entertainment brands that resonate with student audiences and strengthen connections with the wider community.

The successful candidate will have experience in delivering live music events and commercial entertainment programmes, working closely with promoters, artists, agents, and venue teams to create exceptional audience experiences. You will also have a strong understanding of club nights, student events, and the wider live entertainment sector.

In addition, you will have experience creating engaging marketing content across a range of channels, including social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and event listings. You will be confident in developing innovative campaigns that build audiences, drive ticket sales, and maximise the reach and impact of our events programme.
