Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations Manager to oversee the night-time operations of our vibrant nightclub. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient management of all aspects of the venue during evening hours, creating a safe, welcoming, and memorable experience for guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team in a fast-paced entertainment environment, maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise the nightclub team during night shifts, including bar staff, security personnel, and event staff.
  • Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and stock control.
  • Enforce health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with licensing laws and safety standards.
  • Coordinate event planning and execution, including special promotions or themed nights.
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally to maintain high levels of satisfaction.
  • Monitor the venue’s ambience, music, lighting, and cleanliness to uphold brand standards.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, attendance figures, and incident reports for management review.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in management within hospitality or entertainment sectors, preferably in a nightclub setting.
  • Valid Personal License
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Excellent guest service skills with a focus on creating positive customer experiences.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to nightlife venues.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure in a lively environment.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Flexibility to work during evening hours, weekends, and special events as required.

This role is ideal for a proactive individual passionate about hospitality management within an energetic nightlife environment. The successful candidate will play a key part in delivering memorable nights that keep guests returning time after time.
