Full job description
We’re looking for a Specialist Nurse to join our Clinical Operations team within Northern Irelans.
As a Specialist Nurse, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients in their own homes — helping to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering exceptional care, improving patient outcomes, and shaping a service that truly puts patients and their families first, gives patients control of their health through knowledge, choice, convenience, and connection.
Who we are looking for:
You’ll thrive here if you are a dedicated, confident nurse who enjoys working autonomously while being part of a wider supportive team. We’re looking for someone who has:
RGN (Part 1 NMC Register)
Post-registration experience in an acute care setting, including independent decision-making and supervision of others.
Strong knowledge of therapies and drugs relevant to our service offerings, and experience caring for patients with treated conditions.
Experience undertaking clinical assessments and administering subcutaneous injections.
Experience caring for IV devices and administering IV therapies.
Excellent communication skills — you listen actively, communicate sensitively, and make clinical information easy to understand.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and following protocols.
Adaptability and flexibility to meet changing service demands.
A full UK driving licence as regional travel is required for this role
What’s in it for you?
The ability to deliver truly personalised patient care in a home environment.
Opportunities to use and grow your clinical teaching skills.
Support from a highly experienced multidisciplinary team.
A role where your professional judgement, care quality, and patient-focused approach are genuinely valued.
Ongoing development and progression opportunities.
A better work/life balance due to no night shifts and limited Saturday working
Who we are?
Sciensus is a leading European life sciences organisation with over 30 years of experience, helping over 240,000 patients a year gain access to beneficial treatments and life-changing medicines. We empower patients with digital tools like the Sciensus Intouch app, to take control of their treatments, report on symptoms and quality of life, and access support through their care journey. We blend this with personalised support services from our team of over 700 licensed clinical staff. Whether we’re delivering cancer treatment in someone’s home or showing patients how to self-administer medicines, the human-touch care we provide helps patients make the most of their treatment.
What do we offer?
We work hard to make sure colleagues feel motivated, developed, and recognised for the great work they do.
- Company car or car allowance £4887.50
- NMC fees reimbursed
- 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
- Contribution based pension scheme
- Employee benefits platform (retailer discounts and much more)
- Life insurance
- Private medical insurance (after qualifying period)
- Refer a friend scheme
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities
- Annual company event
- Yearly pay reviews
