Warehouse Operative - Sevenoaks
Salary: Starting salary from £28,000 (additional qualifications and experience may attract higher pay)
Hours: 12-hour shifts, 4 days on, 4 days off, between 2pm - 2am (occasional hours outside this window may be required)
Benefits: Company pension scheme, Private medical insurance, Extra month's salary bonus, 20 days holiday per year (plus statutory holidays)

Are you ready to join a dynamic team in a vibrant warehouse environment? Our client, a reputable company are hiring for a Warehouse Operative to support their busy operations in Sevenoaks. If you are detail-oriented, physically fit, and eager to develop your skills, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

What you will be doing:
  • Picking orders accurately using Prophet software and hand scanners
  • Manual handling of palletised goods and unloading trucks
  • Operating ride-on pallet trucks and, with training, counter-balance forklifts
  • Completing loading administration tasks and maintaining accurate records
  • Operating waste and cardboard compactors
  • Assisting with general warehouse duties, including stock replenishment and housekeeping
  • Monitoring plant functions and reporting any issues
  • Ensuring all tasks are performed safely, following company policies

What you will bring:
  • Current ride-on pallet truck licence
  • Valid driving licence
  • Good numeracy skills and basic computer literacy (Windows)
  • Physically fit with good stamina
  • Willingness to learn forklift operation and other warehouse systems
  • A proactive attitude and attention to detail
