Full job description

Blue Light Group is a National company with a local focus providing Security and FM services to clients across the UK

We are actively recruiting for security officers to work on our BID ranger projects. We will need the officer to cover the following projects; Sutton, Clapham, and also Crawley area.

Working mostly in a small team but occasionally alone
In a busy and vibrant town centre
Building effective relationships with residents, business owners and shoppers Working to reduce crime, antisocial behaviour, vandalism etc

Reporting directly into local business improvement representatives, you will need to be able to effectively communicate, write detailed and informative reports, work alongside the police and council, and develop your own ideas for how to best make the project work well

WE HAVE OTHER OPPORTUNITIES ON SIMILAR PROJECTS . THESE WILL BE DISCUSSED AT INTERVIEW STAGE

Required Skills

  • Valid SIA Door Supervisor License
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry (at least 2 years)
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to remain calm and alert under pressure and during emergencies
  • Willingness to learn and to complete essential training

Skills & Experience

  • Minimum 1 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in working in a fast paced, complex environment
  • Must have a valid UK driving licence
  • Must be 25 years or over to satisfy our fleet insurance restrictions

Salary + benefits

  • £13.25 - £13.75 (Depending on experience)
  • 40 Hours per week
  • Overtime on other Blue Light projects
  • Use of a fleet patrol vehicle whilst on duty (Not available on all projects).

Schedule:

  • combination of weekday, weeknights and weekends as required

Experience:

  • Must have a Valid SIA Door supervisors licence
