Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises.

The ideal candidate will ensure that work environments are safe, tidy, and welcoming for clients and staff alike and must have attention to detail as we will be cleaning a certain chain of retail stores. This is a hands on role and will require the manager to work alongside the team it isn’t office based.

This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a professional setting through attention to detail and excellent service.

The major part of the role is picking the team up from the meeting point and travelling to the stores we cover the whole east so Nottingham, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Lincoln you will be required to drive. Vehicle is supplied .

start date will be 12th July !

Hours are :

Sunday night. 5pm till midnight

Monday to Thursday night usually 8pm pick ups and 6/7am drop offs depending where you have been that night.

Work car is provided.

Weekly pay.

You will be leading the team and handing the store back to the management team so will have a checklist to complete every clean.

Duties

  • Clean and sanitise designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, Tills and welfare areas.
  • Dispose of waste materials responsibly and efficiently
  • Restock cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is maintained in good condition
  • Follow health and safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
  • Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning activities
  • Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within allocated timeframes

Skills

  • Basic driving skills are preferred for transportation between sites or supply runs
  • Proficiency in English to understand instructions and communicate effectively with team members and clients
  • Strong customer service skills to interact politely and professionally with clients or visitors
  • Excellent communication skills for coordinating tasks with colleagues and reporting issues promptly
  • Organisation skills to prioritise duties efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness
  • Attention to detail to ensure no area is overlooked during cleaning procedures

This position requires a responsible individual committed to maintaining a clean environment.

Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team. Previous experience in cleaning is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided.

Further progression is available to manage the whole cleaning team across days and nights as we expand nationally.
