Job Summary
We are seeking a confident and vigilant FEMALE Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of our venue, staff, and visitors. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for managing access control, maintaining a secure environment, and providing excellent customer service. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help create a welcoming yet secure atmosphere for everyone on site. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a vibrant team dedicated to safety and professionalism.
The role will be based at a NIGHTCLUB with late finishes 04:00am/05:00am Friday and Saturday nights with optional other hours at additional venues.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check identification of all guests, staff, and contractors entering the premises to ensure authorized access only
- Monitor entry points using CCTV systems to observe activity and identify potential security concerns
- Conduct thorough surveillance and loss prevention measures to prevent theft or unauthorized entry
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, coordinating with emergency services if necessary
- Enforce venue policies in a respectful manner while maintaining a positive environment for guests
- Perform regular patrols of the premises to identify hazards or suspicious activity
- Assist with first aid emergencies, providing basic medical support until professional help arrives
Skills
- Proven experience in security or door supervision roles with a focus on surveillance and loss prevention
- Strong knowledge of CCTV operation and monitoring techniques for effective surveillance
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations or emergencies
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and guest interaction
- Valid certifications in first aid and conflict management are highly desirable
- Discreet, vigilant, and committed to maintaining a safe environment while respecting guest privacy
- Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods as required
