Full job description

We’re looking for a commercially minded, creatively driven Marketing Content Manager to help grow the Don't Buy Her Flowers brand across both B2C and B2B channels. This role is ideal for someone who loves combining creativity with organisation and commercial thinking, someone who can protect and evolve the Don't Buy Her Flowers brand while ensuring our marketing activity genuinely drives awareness, engagement and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

Brand Management & Tone of Voice

  • Protect and evolve the Don't Buy Her Flowers brand across all customer touchpoints
  • Ensure tone of voice remains thoughtful, authentic, warm, honest and consistent across all channels
  • Help shape seasonal campaigns, launches and brand storytelling
  • Act as a brand guardian internally and externally
  • Review reports on metrics, performance and key learnings to steer strategy

Content Creation (B2B & B2C)

  • Plan and create engaging content across all channels for both consumer and corporate audiences
  • Write and edit copy including:
  • Email campaigns
  • Website copy
  • Product descriptions
  • Social captions
  • Blogs/articles
  • B2B outreach materials
  • Develop seasonal campaigns
  • Identify customer stories, trends and community moments that support brand growth

SEO

  • Support on SEO strategy and content required, and ensure implemented.

Social Media (B2C & B2B)

  • Manage and grow DBHF’s presence across Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn
  • Create platform-specific content strategies for both consumer and corporate audiences
  • Plan content calendars aligned to campaigns, launches and seasonal moments
  • Grow engagement, reach and community interaction
  • Identify opportunities for reactive and trend-led content where appropriate
  • Support author collaborations and book-related campaigns

B2B Marketing & Corporate Gifting Support

  • Develop compelling B2B case studies showcasing corporate gifting campaigns (flowers and gifts)
  • Create supporting imagery and marketing assets for sales and outreach
  • Support corporate gifting growth through content, campaigns and relationship-building activity
  • Help position DBHF as a leader in thoughtful corporate gifting

Product & Supplier Marketing Support

  • Work alongside buying/product teams on content for new products and selections
  • Coordinate launch plans and supporting marketing activity

CRM Strategy & Email Marketing

  • CRM planning and customer communication strategy, working with CRM team
  • Create content for email marketing, automations, campaigns

PR & Brand Awareness

  • Work with PR partners (Honcho) to maximise press opportunities
  • Provide imagery, content, quotes
  • Help ensure PR activity aligns with wider marketing strategy

Paid Media Support

  • Work collaboratively with PPC partner to align paid activity with wider campaigns and priorities
  • Support creative development, messaging and campaign planning
  • Review performance insights and help identify opportunities for optimisation

Ecommerce & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with ecommerce and ops teams to ensure marketing activity aligns with stock availability and customer demand
  • Support product launches and seasonal trading plans
  • Ensure ecommerce imagery and marketing assets are up to date and aligned

Imagery & Creative Coordination

  • Manage image selection and organisation across marketing channels
  • Create or coordinate imagery for:
  • Social media
  • Email campaigns
  • Corporate gifting materials

UGC & Community Content

  • Source and manage user-generated content opportunities
  • Encourage customer participation and community storytelling
  • Build relationships with customers and creators to generate authentic content
  • Repurpose customer reviews, tag messages and testimonials into marketing assets

Partnerships, Influencers & Charity Relationships

  • Develop and manage relevant partnerships that align with the DBHF audience and values
  • Build relationships with influencers, authors, charities and like-minded brands
  • Identify collaboration opportunities that increase awareness and engagement
  • Coordinate gifting and influencer outreach activity
  • Track partnership performance and impact

15 Hours Per week

Hybrid, working from our office and flexible working hours - which can be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: Up to £15,200.00 per year
