Contact Web is seeking qualified Independent Prescriber’s to join our growing clinical services division, supporting a leading UK digital healthcare provider through a strategic partnership.

The Role

The Independent Prescriber will work as part of Contact Web’s clinical services team, providing remote assessment and prescribing support for patients accessing treatment via a digital healthcare platform.

This is a remote Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and assess asynchronous patient consultations using a secure Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
  • Determine prescribing eligibility in line with agreed clinical protocols
  • Prescribe treatments safely and appropriately across multiple service areas, including Weight Management
  • Request additional patient information where required to ensure safe prescribing
  • Maintain accurate, concise, and comprehensive patient records
  • Work efficiently in line with rota requirements to meet patient demand
  • Provide clinical advice and support, including side-effect management
  • Complete Patient Safety Incident (PSI) reports when required
  • Participate in team meetings, audits, and ongoing training
  • Escalate and provide feedback on clinical or operational issues impacting service delivery

Who You Are

Essential Skills & Attributes

  • Registered healthcare professional
  • Qualified Independent Prescriber
  • Experience in telemedicine and/or protocol-led prescribing
  • Strong attention to detail and sound clinical judgement
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Confident using multiple IT systems
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a multidisciplinary team

Desirable Experience (but not essential)

  • Experience prescribing GLP-1 medications
  • Previous experience in digital health or remote clinical services

Working Pattern

This is a fully remote position operating on a 7-day rota.

Successful candidates will be required to:

  • Work a minimum of 30 hours per week
  • Complete a minimum of 3 x 10-hour shifts per week
  • Cover at least one weekend day each week (Saturday or Sunday)
  • Work one of the following shift patterns:
  • 10:00am – 8:00pm
  • 12:00pm – 8:00pm
  • 12:00pm – 10:00pm
  • 2:00pm – 10:00pm

Preferred rota patterns include:

  • Wednesday to Sunday
  • Saturday to Wednesday

Please note: Candidates wishing to work the 2:00pm – 10:00pm shift must not hold another role during morning hours, as full availability and adequate rest periods are required.

What We Offer

  • Salary: up to £35,000 -£40,000 per annum
