Full job description

We are currently seeking to recruit a reliable and hardworking team player to join our team at TFL as a Team Leader. As a Team Leader you will lead, maintain and motivate a team of Multi Skilled Officers and be accountable for team performance and morale. You will also patrol and enforce at TFL train stations visiting each station 2 – 3 times a week . You will be given a rail pass to the TFL network to visit the stations.

The stations you will be required to cover are in the North East London area. This will include Walthamstow Central, Theobald Grove, Chingford, Harrow and Wealdstone, Hatch End and Bushey

Your main responsibly is to patrol the car parks ensuring that everyone is adhering to the stations Terms and Conditions, as required issuing parking charge notices (PCN). Other duties include litter picking and minor payment machines maintenance.

In addition you will hold team briefings, as necessary, participate in the disciplinary investigations in conjunction with the Contract Manager, and support and mentor new team members

Reporting to the Contracts Manager, you will be working 48 hours per week, on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern, Monday – Sunday including some weekends between the hours of 07:00 and 21:00. There may be requirement for occasional bank holiday working. Full training and uniform are provided.

What skills will you need

You will need to possess good interpersonal and literacy skills as you will be dealing with members of the public on a daily basis and recording information regarding the area patrolled and issuing PCN’s when necessary.

At least one years supervisory experience is preferred (any industry), A full clean drivers licence is desirable, as you may be required to visit other Saba locations

Competency in Microsoft Office would also be an advantage.

You will also need to be able to use your initiative, work with minimum supervision and be able to follow procedures and guidelines. The ability to problem solve in stressful situations will also be key to the role.
