Nurse Disability Assessor – HYBRID HOMEBASED WORKING
Starting salary: £40,000 - £43,000/pa+ benefits + 10% yearly bonus (based on the role)
Salary uplift (PIP:£1,000 at 6 months, further £1,000 at 12months of employment; WCA: £1,000 at 12 months of employment)
Full-time/ Part-time available
Clinic locations: Bristol, Weston-super-Mare, Yeovil, Swindon, Gloucester, Salisbury, Aylesbury as well as nationwide (your base depends on the proximity to the nearest clinic)
Nurses: RGN, RMN, RNLD

Nurse Disability Assessor Requirements:
- Valid NMC pin
- A minimum of 12 months' experience as a nurse
- Appropriate work space within home setting that allows you to successfully complete your role, including broadband connection (equipment provided)
- No previous health and disability assessor experience required as full, paid training is provided
Nurse Disability Assessor role:
- Compile 3 assessments + reports a day once training is completed (depends on the role)
- Starting annual salary of £40,000 - £43,000 with yearly salary increases and yearly bonus (depends on the role)
- Full training is supplied over an initial 12 week period, completed as virtual/remote homebased teaching and assessments (initial 6 weeks) and probation period with mentor support (further 6 weeks on average)
- Performance-related bonus of up to 10% paid quarterly
- Hybrid homebased working on completing of initial 6 weeks of homebased training (at least 2 days working at clinic at FT hours)
- Conducting impartial, holistic health and disability assessments only and does not require you to make any decisions on claim outcomes
- Carry out telephone, video and/ or face-to-face functional assessments to establish any functional restriction caused by a claimant’s health concern
- Be the point of contact during the consultation stage for claimants with a wide range of health conditions and disabilities
- Liaise with a range of clinical peers across the NHS and private healthcare sector, charities, and support organisations to obtain evidence that assists in the production of detailed reports
- Compile reports, which are then dispatched for review and decision as to eligibility
- Initial Reviews are a part of this role (training provided)
