Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Paramedic Practitioner / Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role involves delivering comprehensive patient care within a dynamic clinical environment, providing advanced assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive setting with a focus on patient-centred care and professional development.

Duties

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations
  • Support and work within the duty team and provide home & care home visits
  • Diagnose a wide range of acute and chronic conditions with clinical precision
  • Administer medications safely and effectively in accordance with prescribing guidelines
  • Develop and implement personalised treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Provide health education and advice to optimise patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with legal and organisational standards
  • Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development programmes

Requirements

  • Proven experience in patient care within a primary or urgent care setting
  • Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform clinical decision-making
  • Competence in medication administration, including prescribing rights where applicable
  • Relevant registration with the appropriate professional body (e.g., NMC or HCPC)
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Exceptional communication skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and maintaining up-to-date clinical knowledge

Pay: £26.50-£29.35 per hour
