Role Brief:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Digital Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our virtual healthcare team. As a Digital Advanced Nurse Practitioner (DANP), you will work remotely as an autonomous practitioner, providing virtual consultations to a diverse range of patients. Your role will encompass prescribing a wide range of medications, contributing to the daily operations, and shaping the future development of our UK clinical service.

Responsibilities:

  • Autonomous Practitioner: Work remotely as an autonomous practitioner, conducting 15-minute virtual consultations with patients, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Prescribing Expertise: Utilize your non-medical prescribing qualifications to prescribe a wide range of medications, encompassing various conditions and patient presentations.
  • Clinical Portfolio: Assume responsibility for your own clinical portfolio, maintaining and expanding your scope of practice in alignment with your advanced practice qualifications.
  • Patient-Centred Care: Provide patient-centred care, confidently managing a diverse range of primary care presentations with competence in assessment, diagnosis, and management.
  • Contribution to Development: Play a pivotal role in both the day-to-day functioning and future development of our UK clinical service, collaborating with the team to enhance healthcare delivery.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the 4 pillars of advanced practice and their application to your role.
  • MSc-level training, preferably in advanced practice or relevant advanced studies.
  • Proven experience working as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner in primary care or a related healthcare service.
  • Non-medical prescriber status with a minimum of 12-24 months of prescribing experience, depending on the areas you've worked in.
  • Competence in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of common primary care presentations.
  • Proficiency in utilising technology and managing multiple IT systems simultaneously.
  • Experience in interpreting blood results and reviewing laboratory findings.
  • License and Qualifications: valid nursing license and relevant qualifications, such as a Master's degree in Advanced Practice Nursing.
  • Clinical Competence: experience in diagnosing and treating patients across various age groups and tele healthcare settings.
  • Digital Literacy: proficiency with digital tools and electronic health records (EHRs) comfortable navigating and using technology effectively.
  • Telehealth Experience: experience with telehealth or remote patient monitoring . ANPs need to make informed decisions, in virtual settings
