Job Title Registered General Nurse (RGN)

Location: London Private Hospital (with occasional travel to Manchester Private Hospital)
Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-Time or Bank

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our Ward, Outpatients, and Pre/Post-Operative team.

Working closely with the Senior Nurse, you will deliver high-quality patient care, support the day-to-day running of the ward, and take charge of clinical shifts when required. You will act as a patient advocate, maintain excellent clinical standards, and contribute to a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, effective, and patient-centred nursing care.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • Lead clinical shifts in the absence of the Senior Nurse.
  • Support and mentor junior, bank, and agency staff.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
  • Participate in audits, quality improvement initiatives, and ongoing professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with NMC, CQC, and hospital standards.

Requirements

  • Current NMC Registration.
  • Previous experience as a Staff Nurse.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Evidence of continued professional development.
  • BLS/ILS certification desirable.
