Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-time Chef to join our culinary team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a flair for food preparation and cooking to showcase their skills in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and contributing to an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. This position is ideal for those looking to develop their culinary expertise while working flexible hours.

Key Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious, and appetising meals for residents.

· Cater for special dietary requirements, allergies, and texture-modified diets.

· Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and kitchen safety.

· Ensure compliance with Food Safety and HACCP procedures.

· Manage stock rotation and minimise food waste.

· Work closely with the care team to provide an excellent dining experience for residents.

Requirements

· Previous experience as a Chef, ideally within a care home, healthcare, or catering environment.

· Food Hygiene Certificate (Level 2 or above).

· Knowledge of special diets and nutritional needs of older people is desirable.

· Reliable, organised, and able to work independently.

· A caring and positive attitude with a passion for quality food.
