We're looking for talented, creative and career-driven photographers to become part of our valued photography team, covering Scotland and the surrounding areas.

The role is particularly well suited to photographers who already operate wedding, portrait or newborn photography businesses and are looking for consistent weekday photography opportunities alongside their existing work.

The Role

As a Nursery & Preschool Photographer, you'll be responsible for delivering professional photography sessions at our partner nurseries and preschools.

You'll work with children of various ages, from babies to preschoolers, creating beautiful, natural photographs that families will treasure.

You'll also be responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with nursery staff, ensuring photography days are organised, enjoyable and run smoothly.

Working Hours: Typically 9:00am – 3:00pm
Location: Scotland & surrounding areas
Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Permanent
Pay: Competitive day rate plus end-of-season performance bonuses

Your Own Photographer Portal

We've invested in our own bespoke photography management system to make your working day as straightforward and organised as possible.

• View your photography diary – Access your scheduled shoots, locations and upcoming assignments.
• Manage your bookings – Keep track of your photography schedule and assignments in one place.
• Access shoot information – View important nursery details and photography requirements before each session.
• Manage your invoicing – Create and manage your invoices directly through our internal system, making the payment process simple and efficient.

No complicated paperwork or unnecessary administration. Our system is designed to let you focus on what you do best – photography!

Skills & Experience Required

All applicants must have:

• Good working knowledge of DSLR cameras and professional photography equipment.
• Experience in studio-style photography and professional staff headshots.
• A strong understanding of studio lighting and lighting techniques.
• Experience photographing and working with babies and young children.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• A creative eye and attention to detail.
• A friendly, patient and professional approach.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Access to their own reliable vehicle.
