Nursery Practitioner Level 3 Babies/Tweenies

Location: Monkey Puzzle Crouch End

Job Overview

To provide the highest levels of care and education for all children attending the setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children
  • Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children in line with EYFS Framework
  • Undertake the role of Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families.
  • Observe, plan and assess children's development and maintain accurate records for your key children.
  • Prepare and lead engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Support children's emotional wellbeing and encourage independence, confidence and curiosity.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high-quality learning environment and positive nursery culture.
  • Notify Designated Officer of any safeguarding concerns.
  • Build positive relationships with parents and carers and support strong partnershhips
  • Attend staff meetings, training and professional development as required.
  • Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained.
  • Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery.
  • Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line manager

Essentials

  • Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
  • Safeguarding Knowledge
  • At least 2 year's experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in an Early Years setting.
