NEW NURSERY
Nursery Practitioner Level 3 Babies/Tweenies
Location: Monkey Puzzle Crouch End
Job Overview
To provide the highest levels of care and education for all children attending the setting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for all children
- Support the learning, development and wellbeing of children in line with EYFS Framework
- Undertake the role of Key Person, building strong relationships with children and their families.
- Observe, plan and assess children's development and maintain accurate records for your key children.
- Prepare and lead engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
- Support children's emotional wellbeing and encourage independence, confidence and curiosity.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a high-quality learning environment and positive nursery culture.
- Notify Designated Officer of any safeguarding concerns.
- Build positive relationships with parents and carers and support strong partnershhips
- Attend staff meetings, training and professional development as required.
- Ensure confidentiality, where appropriate, is maintained.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures and undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested by line manager

Essentials
- Minimum full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
- Safeguarding Knowledge
- At least 2 year's experience working as a nursery practitioner or similar in an Early Years setting.

All posts involving direct contact with children and vulnerable adults are exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. However, amendments to the Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain spent convictions and cautions are 'protected'. These are not subject to disclosure to employers and cannot be taken into account.
