Registered Nurse (Night Duty)

Permanent

Full time 36.75 hours per week (3 nights a week then 4 nights a week rolling pattern)

£26.50ph depending on experience

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse with a passion for making a difference in the lives of others? Elder Homes is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (Night Duty) who will play a key role within Elder Homes Ltd which has two high quality nursing homes, Cluny Lodge and Chamberlain, situated in the Morningside area of Edinburgh. As a Registered Nurse, you'll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.

Requirements

  • You’ll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices to join us as a Registered Nurse.
  • Dedicated and compassionate, you'll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing.
  • Minimum 1 year post-graduate nursing experience
  • Registered General Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse/Enrolled Nurse
  • The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, along with excellent listening skills
  • Experience with Care Home Nursing or in a similar environment
  • You MUST have the right to work in the UK – we cannot offer sponsorships
  • Experience of eMAR and Digital Care planning software

Responsibilities

  • Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the nursing home
  • Planning, implementing and supervising the provision of quality care
  • Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC’S) code of professional conduct
  • Planning, implementing and supervising the provision of quality care

Candidate Requirements:
