St. George’s Nursery – Sherwood

We are looking for a warm, reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Lunchtime Cover Practitioner to join our team at St. George’s Nursery Sherwood.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with children and wants to be part of a supportive, welcoming nursery environment during our busy lunchtime period.

At St. George’s, we pride ourselves on creating beautiful learning environments, investing in our team, and building a positive culture where staff feel valued and supported.

What the role involves:
  • Supporting children throughout the lunchtime period
  • Helping with meals, routines and transitions
  • Creating a calm, nurturing and engaging environment
  • Supporting children’s care needs and promoting independence
  • Working closely with the wider nursery team to ensure high standards of care and safety
What we are looking for:
  • Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 childcare qualification
  • A caring and positive attitude
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Someone who is reliable, proactive and enjoys working with young children
  • Previous nursery experience is preferred but not essential
