About the Role:

We are looking for a professional, organised, and friendly Office Administrator & Receptionist to join our Academy team. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, pupils, staff, and external stakeholders, you will provide a welcoming and professional front-of-house service while supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the Academy. Working closely with the Office Manager, you will assist with Academy-wide administration, undertake delegated tasks, manage enquiries, and ensure that administrative processes are completed accurately and efficiently. This is a varied role that requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

About You:

You are a highly organised and approachable individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You enjoy working in a busy environment, are able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and take pride in providing a high standard of customer service. You will be confident using Microsoft Office applications, have strong administrative skills, and be able to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. A positive attitude, a proactive approach, and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, colleagues, and visitors are essential for success in this role. Previous experience in an administrative or reception role is desirable, and experience within an educational setting would be an advantage.

This role requires a proactive, reliable, and adaptable team player who can work both independently and collaboratively. A commitment to supporting students’ learning and development is key, along with a willingness to share knowledge, take part in further training, and go the extra mile to enrich students’ experiences. A GCSE-level education including Maths and English is essential.
