Administrative Assistant

Rock Marine Services is looking for an enthusiastic and organised individual to join our team based at our premises on the Industrial Estate in St Minver.

This is an exciting and varied role that combines office administration with customer service and operational support. Unlike a conventional office position, you'll be working within a busy marine services environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient day-to-day running of the business
  • Answer and direct telephone calls, take messages, and respond to customer enquiries
  • Manage and maintain files, records, and documentation
  • Schedule customer bookings and service requests
  • Deliver excellent customer service and provide assistance to customers as required
  • Communicate and collaborate with colleagues across different departments
  • Assist with general office duties and administrative tasks

Skills & Experience

  • Strong administrative and clerical skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Confident and professional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Competent in general office duties including filing, record keeping, and stock control of office supplies
  • Previous administrative experience is desirable

Working Hours- The working hours for this role are detailed below, although a degree of flexibility will be required to support the needs of the business during busy periods.

Monday to Friday, plus every other Saturday
(A mid week day off will be provided when a Saturday is worked)

Main Season: 8:30am – 6:00pm
Off Season: 8:30am – 5:00pm
