Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant Staff to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, supporting food preparation, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for detail to uphold our high standards of food safety and customer satisfaction.

We are looking for someone to work Wednesday - Sunday inclusive each week from 2:30pm until Finish.

As this position involves preparing and serving alcoholic drinks, we are considering candidates over the age of 18 years old.

Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a positive dining experience
  • Take accurate orders and serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining excellent guest service standards
  • Support in food preparation tasks in accordance with food safety regulations and kitchen procedures
  • Assist with setting up dining areas, clearing tables, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the restaurant
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using basic maths skills and process payments efficiently
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including food safety protocols
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods
  • Assist in opening or closing duties as required, including cleaning and organising workstations

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation techniques is advantageous
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Good organisational skills with effective time management abilities
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
  • Experience in serving, culinary arts, or kitchen work is desirable but not mandatory
  • Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
