The Research and Innovation Department is expanding, and the Oncology Trial Management Team is seeking Clinical Trials Assistants to support the delivery of its research portfolio.
These are full-time (1.0 WTE), permanent positions based at St James's University Hospital.
Key responsibilities include managing a portfolio of studies, data entry, coordinating trial activities, and liaising with sponsors and the wider research team. If you are interested, please contact the recruiting manager for an informal discussion.
Why you should join our Team
The Oncology Trial Management Team manages a large portfolio of studies across all stages of the research lifecycle, from study set-up and recruitment through to follow-up and archiving.
We are a busy, supportive, and collaborative team, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and managing a varied workload. Full training will be provided.
If you are interested in how research can improve patient outcomes and would like to contribute to cutting-edge cancer research, this could be the role for you.
What you will bring to the role

The role includes maintaining study files, processing study amendments, responding to data queries, and supporting monitoring visits. The post holder will work closely with sponsors, industry partners, the NIHR Clinical Research Network Yorkshire and Humber, and colleagues across the Trust and wider research community.
