Growth Marketing Manager
Location: Welwyn Garden City (Hybrid working from office & home)
Hours: Monday – Friday (37.5hrs per week) with flexible working time
The Company: We are a successful computer games and entertainment company based in Welwyn Garden City, who work closely with Microsoft Xbox, Sega, Sony, Bethesda, Universal, Warner Bros, Minecraft, Hasbro and many others.
Role Overview: The E-commerce Executive will assist in the day-to-day operations of our online stores, including managing product listings, optimising content, and analysing sales data. This role is ideal for a proactive individual with a passion for e-commerce and a keen eye for detail.
Role Overview
As the Growth Marketing Manager, you will drive customer acquisition, revenue growth, and brand visibility across our D2C brands. You will lead the strategic planning and execution of multi-channel paid media campaigns, affiliate programs, influencer partnerships, and more. You'll also be pivotal in maximising data capture to power future marketing strategies.
This is both a hands-on and leadership role — you will manage a direct report and must be comfortable leading, mentoring, and growing a team as we scale. We’re looking for someone highly data-driven, proactive, and performance-obsessed, with a passion for finding new growth levers and achieving outstanding ROI and CPA targets.
Key Responsibilities
● Strategy Development & Execution
○ Build and lead a comprehensive growth marketing strategy across PPC (Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising), Programmatic, Affiliate, Paid Social, and Influencer Marketing.
○ Set clear objectives, KPIs, and forecasts to drive measurable growth while maintaining efficient ROI and CPA targets.
● Performance Marketing Leadership
○ Plan, launch, optimize, and scale PPC campaigns on Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.
○ Manage programmatic advertising strategies for brand and product awareness.
○ Oversee and optimise affiliate marketing efforts, collaborating closely with affiliate networks and partners.
○ Develop and execute paid social strategies across Meta.
Influencer and Partnerships Growth
● Possess a strong understanding and experience in influencer and partnership marketing to effectively manage and guide a direct report responsible for day-to-day execution.
● Support the development of strategies for influencer collaborations that drive brand awareness and direct conversion goals.
● Ensure influencer activities are aligned with brand identity, performance objectives, and marketing KPIs.
● Team Management
○ Manage and mentor a direct report, supporting their development and ensuring high-quality execution across their areas of ownership.
○ Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture as the department grows.
● Data Capture & Analysis
○ Implement initiatives to maximise data capture from all paid channels, feeding into CRM and retargeting strategies.
○ Use first-party data to create highly personalised marketing campaigns and drive loyalty and repeat purchases.
○ Continuously monitor, report, and analyse channel performance, providing actionable insights and recommendations on KPIs such as CAC, ROI, LTV, and CPA.
○ Own and manage analytics tracking across paid marketing channels using Google Analytics 4 (GA4).
● Cross-Functional Collaboration
○ Work with E-commerce, Creative, CRM, and Product teams to align campaigns and customer journeys.
○ Contribute to new product and brand launches with paid media support.
Skills & Experience
● 4+ years of experience in a growth or performance marketing role, preferably in a D2C or E-commerce business.
● Proven track record of delivering scalable, profitable growth across PPC, Paid Social, Affiliates, and/or Programmatic.
● Prior experience managing at least one direct report or mentoring junior team members.
● Deep understanding of attribution, customer acquisition cost, LTV, and ROI metrics.
● Hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta Business Suite, affiliate networks (like Awin), and programmatic platforms.
● Experience working with influencer campaigns and managing partnerships.
● Strong analytical skills; ability to extract insights from data and translate into actionable strategies.
● Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
● Passion for pop culture, gaming, and licensed brands is a big plus!
What We Offer
● Competitive salary and performance bonuses.
● Staff discounts across all our brands.
● Flexible working hours and hybrid working options.
● Collaborative and creative team environment.
● Opportunity to grow with a fast-paced, exciting business at the intersection of pop culture and retail innovation.
