Please note: Due to our rural location, reliable personal transport is essential.

Particularly seeking availability on Sunday, Friday and mid-week.

Oypla is a growing online retailer importing and distributing a wide range of home and garden products. Our Upwood warehouse is the central hub for receiving, storing and dispatching goods across multiple sales channels.

As we move into a busy seasonal period, we are looking for reliable, hard-working individuals to support our warehouse team during peak demand and staff absences.

This role is particularly well suited to college and university students seeking flexible work that can fit around academic commitments. Our busiest trading periods often coincide with college and university holidays, when additional hours are typically available.

  • Zero hours contract – hours are not guaranteed
  • Shifts available Sunday to Friday, 08:30–17:30
  • Hours are offered based on operational demand, availability and demonstrated reliability/performance
  • Increased hours are typically available during peak seasonal periods
  • Please state your availability clearly when applying

We anticipate 2026 to be a significant year of growth for Oypla. While not guaranteed, many team members who have started in this role have progressed into full-time positions as opportunities have arisen.

Key Responsibilities

  • Picking customer orders accurately
  • Labelling and dispatching parcels
  • Moving pallets using a manual pump truck
  • Wrapping pallets securely for shipment
  • Assisting in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse
  • Following all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Unloading shipping containers

This is a physical, hands-on role suited to individuals who enjoy staying active and working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.
