Operations Director

Supported Living & Complex Care Services

Based in Reading | Full-Time | £70,000–£90,000 DOE + Benefits

Join a Well-Established Care Provider with a Vision for GrowthWe are an established and respected Supported Living and Complex Care provider with over 10 years of experience delivering high-quality, person-centred care across the region.Due to continued growth and ambitious future plans, we are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Operations Director to work alongside the current Director in leading the next phase of the company’s development.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially aware and people-focused leader who is passionate about delivering outstanding care while driving operational excellence, compliance, and sustainable growth.

The Role

As Operations Director, you will play a pivotal leadership role across the organisation, overseeing service delivery, operational performance, staff development, compliance, and strategic expansion.

Working closely with the existing Director, you will help shape the future of the business, strengthen operational infrastructure, and support the continued growth of our Supported Living and Complex Care services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and oversee day-to-day operations across Supported Living and Complex Care services

Drive service quality, compliance, and positive outcomes for individuals supportedSupport business growth, development opportunities, and strategic planningEnsure full compliance with CQC standards and relevant legislation

Build, mentor, and inspire high-performing management teamsMonitor operational KPIs, budgets, staffing, and service efficiency

Develop strong relationships with commissioners, families, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders

Identify opportunities for innovation and continuous improvement

Work collaboratively with the current Director to implement long-term business vision and expansion plans

About You

We are looking for a motivated leader with:

Senior operational leadership experience within Supported Living, Complex Care, or Adult Social Care

Strong understanding of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks

Proven experience managing multi-site care operations

Commercial awareness with the ability to support business growth

Exceptional leadership, communication, and organisational skills

A passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care

Vision, drive, and the ability to bring fresh ideas to an established business

A Level 5 qualification in Health & Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
