Head Of Entertainment & Experience

Guinness World Records – London Venue

What’s the fastest game bird in Europe? This was the question that inspired the founding of Guinness World Records back in 1955. Starting with a single book published from a room above a gym, GWR has grown to become a global multimedia brand, with offices in London, New York, Beijing, Tokyo and Dubai. Today, we deliver world-class content, not just through books, but via TV shows, social media and live events. Whatever the medium, our ultimate purpose is to make the world a more interesting, fun and positive place.

Guinness World Records is bringing its iconic brand to life in London through a brand-new immersive attraction, part family entertainment centre and part competitive socialising combining live challenges, experiences and record-breaking moments.

The attraction features more than 50 official Guinness World Records challenges across six action-packed Arenas, where guests can test their skills to attempt records and become official Guinness World Record holders.

The Role

We’re looking for a Head of Entertainment & Experience to help bring the venue and the Guinness World Records brand to life through live entertainment and interactive engagement. You will lead from the front, building a confident and passionate team to encourage guests to break records, champion record-breaking and bring genuine energy and excitement to this brand-new venue.

The role manages a team of challenge coaches, presenters and official Guinness World Records Adjudicators who will deliver a daily programme of entertainment shows, hosted segments, workshops, and visits from world-record breakers.

The team will work in the challenge arenas and across the venue to support guests with record attempts, deliver record-breaking celebrations, and run school and educational engagement sessions, as well as VIP tours and birthday parties.

You will be an experienced Entertainment Manager with a background in high-energy, guest-focused environments, particularly within entertainment-led venues, theme parks, cruise ships or similar.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

  • Working closely with Global Head of Production and Visitor Experience in the delivery of the attraction’s live experiences, ensuring an engaging environment for guests
  • Oversee the main stage programme including hosted segments, live entertainment and interactive presentations
  • Champion recruitment, training and development of a team of adjudicators, performance hosts and challenge coaches
  • Manage official record-breaker celebrations and special moments, ensuring they are delivered with impact and professionalism
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of challenge coaches and engaging hosts who support guests in attempting record-breaking activities
  • Support the operational delivery of adjudication processes and official record-breaker celebrations
  • Drive compliance across health and safety, audits, and operational processes
  • Ensure Standard Operating Procedures are embedded, followed and continuously improved
  • Lead delivery of educational and school-focused experiences, ensuring sessions are curriculum based and engaging
  • Work closely with the General Manager and the Head of Operations to ensure live programming aligns with guest flow and venue operations

About You

You will bring:

  • Experience leading a live entertainment function and performance-based teams within attractions, events or entertainment environments
  • Strong storytelling and creative presenting skills
  • Ability to motivate a team and deliver high-energy guest engagement
  • Experience in rehearsing, directing and delivering live show content
  • A solid understanding of health and safety, compliance and operational standards
  • Experience in duty management, making decisions in a live operational setting
  • The ability to organise, prioritise and remain calm under pressure

Why Join Us

This role operates within a live immersive attraction environment requiring flexibility across evenings, weekends and peak trading periods. The Head of Experience will be highly visible across the attraction, leading from the front, hosting moments when required and supporting teams to deliver energetic and memorable guest experiences.

Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) is fundamental to who we are. We strive to develop, empower and inspire our people by reinforcing our mission, purpose and values as we continue building an iconic brand. Our commitment to empowerment goes beyond inclusion - we aim to recognise and make the most of the talent across our organisation. We are dedicated to creating an environment where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their background or identity.
