Salary – £31,500 Pro-rata + Benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development)

We’re looking for an On-site Staffing Coordinator & Workforce Planning Analyst to join our Workforce Planning and Temporary Staffing team based at The Harborne Hospital. This team plays a vital role in ensuring the hospital has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to deliver outstanding patient care. Working closely with operational and clinical leaders, the team uses workforce planning tools, scheduling systems and data insights to drive productivity, optimise staffing levels and support workforce decisions across the hospital.

As a key member of the team, you’ll act as a local expert for the Facility Scheduler system while supporting workforce planning initiatives through reporting, analysis and stakeholder engagement. Combining operational coordination with data-driven decision making, this role offers a unique opportunity to influence workforce performance and contribute directly to the smooth running of one of the UK’s leading private hospitals.

Above all else, we’re committed to the care and improvement of human life. It’s this guiding vision that influences everything we do at HCA UK. From the CEO to the colleagues on the floor we all have a part to play in delivering exceptional care to our patients. Other’s may think this is just a role in Workforce Planning and Temporary Staffing, but to us, you’ll be part of a wider team with a unique sense of purpose, one that helps improve lives on a daily basis.

What you’ll do:

  • Act as the first point of contact for Facility Scheduler, staffing and workforce planning queries across the hospital
  • Support the administration and maintenance of the Facility Scheduler system, including user access, organisational updates and system audits
  • Analyse workforce and productivity data using Power BI and other reporting tools to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Deliver training and ongoing support for managers and colleagues using workforce scheduling systems
  • Work closely with departmental leaders to review staffing requirements, productivity metrics and workforce plans

What you’ll bring:

  • Previous experience within Temporary Staffing, workforce planning or healthcare staffing operations
  • Experience using Facility Scheduler or a similar workforce management system
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Power BI or other reporting and productivity tools
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, including basic to intermediate Excel proficiency
