Full job description

Lead cloud capacity management across EMEA and JAPAC, translating customer demand and business priorities into executable capacity plans. Direct a regional team responsible for demand validation, capacity availability, ordering governance, fulfillment tracking, and customer readiness across compute, GPU, storage, and supporting infrastructure.

Partner with Sales, Engineering, Supply Chain, Data Center Operations, Finance, and global capacity teams to align regional requirements with available inventory, supply commitments, site readiness, and service capabilities. Establish clear priorities, accountable owners, and reliable reporting from initial request through usable capacity and customer handover.

Provide leadership on capacity constraints, strategic customer requirements, and competing regional priorities. Improve utilization and delivery predictability through disciplined planning, capacity reclamation, accurate data, and scalable operating processes.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, supply chain, business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 10+ years of relevant experience in cloud infrastructure, capacity planning, infrastructure delivery, supply chain operations, or technical program management.

  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and delivering complex programs across multiple countries or regions.

  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure capacity, including compute, GPU, storage, networking, and data center readiness dependencies.

  • Experience translating customer requirements and demand forecasts into supply, allocation, and fulfillment plans.

  • Ability to analyze complex operational data, resolve conflicting inputs, and present clear recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Demonstrated success coordinating across Sales, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance.

  • Strong executive communication, prioritization, and escalation-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting cloud infrastructure operations or capacity programs across EMEA and JAPAC.

  • Familiarity with OCI services, hardware shapes, capacity pools, reservations, and infrastructure deployment processes.

  • Experience supporting strategic customers, large-scale AI or GPU deployments, and supporting CPU and storage requirements.

  • Experience with capacity reclamation, workload migrations, and hardware lifecycle transitions.

  • Experience developing operational dashboards, workflow automation, and planning controls.

Responsibilities
Regional strategy and demand planning

  • Develop and execute capacity-management plans for EMEA and JAPAC, aligning near-term fulfillment and longer-term growth with business objectives.

  • Validate demand by region, site, resource shape, quantity, and required date. Reconcile forecast changes against approved requirements, existing orders, and supply commitments.

  • Evaluate fulfillment options across available inventory, reserved capacity, new supply, and redeployment, accounting for technical compatibility and customer requirements.

  • Represent regional priorities in global planning and allocation decisions, presenting business impact, constraints, and recommended tradeoffs.

Ordering governance and delivery readiness

  • Maintain an integrated regional plan connecting approved demand, order signals, supply commitments, delivery milestones, installation, ingestion, and customer handover.

  • Ensure ordering decisions reflect validated requirements, documented approvals, and confirmed space, power, network, and platform dependencies.

  • Direct reconciliation of demand and order records, resolving duplicate requests, configuration changes, quantity discrepancies, and unsupported assumptions.

  • Partner with delivery and service teams to resolve blockers and verify usable capacity before communicating availability or fulfillment completion.

Customer capacity and escalation management

  • Lead regional engagement for strategic customer requests, large-scale deployments, and capacity shortages.

  • Establish request-review standards, service-level expectations, and escalation paths with clear owners and next actions.

  • Coordinate capacity reservations, holding pools, and release decisions within approved policies and contractual requirements, balancing customer commitments with public-pool availability.

  • Provide Sales and business leaders with actionable availability information, qualified delivery expectations, and alternatives when requested capacity cannot be fulfilled.

Utilization and lifecycle management

  • Identify opportunities to reclaim, redeploy, or consolidate underused capacity while protecting existing customer commitments.

  • Coordinate migration and decommissioning plans with service owners, Engineering, and Operations, assessing service compatibility, customer impact, and execution dependencies.

  • Evaluate capacity and power constraints and lead coordinated mitigation planning with the accountable infrastructure teams.

  • Support regional hardware transitions by aligning replacement plans with workload requirements and service readiness.

Executive reporting and operational improvement

  • Deliver regular regional reporting on demand coverage, order status, incoming capacity, delivery readiness, customer handovers, and unresolved risks.

  • Clearly distinguish forecast demand, approved orders, planned delivery, installed infrastructure, and usable service capacity.

  • Establish consistent data definitions, validation practices, and stakeholder signoff for regional plans and executive reporting.

  • Develop dashboards and automate recurring reporting to improve accuracy, responsiveness, and visibility.

  • Lead business reviews that produce clear decisions, accountable actions, and timely escalation of unresolved constraints.

People leadership

  • Lead, develop, and evaluate capacity managers and program-management professionals supporting EMEA and JAPAC.

  • Set clear performance expectations, delegate ownership, and align team priorities with regional and global objectives.

  • Build effective coverage and handover practices across time zones, enabling consistent execution and stakeholder engagement.

  • Partner with HR on hiring, development, succession planning, and performance management.

  • Create an inclusive environment that encourages sound judgment, collaboration, and accountability.
