Hours: Part-time, 25 hours per week

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you’ll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen, taking responsibility for your section and ensuring food is prepared and served to a consistently high standard.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Running your section confidently during busy services
• Preparing fresh restaurant classics with consistency and care
• Delivering quality breakfasts, lunches, soups and daily specials
• Completing preparation and mise en place ready for service
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Ensuring food is stored, prepared and handled correctly
• Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
• Helping to maintain a well-organised and professional kitchen environment
• Working efficiently as part of a team during busy periods

Working Hours

This is a 25-hour per week position, working on a two-week rota:

Week 1

• Monday: 10:00–16:00
• Wednesday: 10:00–16:00
• Friday: 10:00–16:00

Week 2

• Monday: 10:00–16:00
• Wednesday: 10:00–16:00
• Friday: 10:00–16:00
• Saturday: 09:00–16:30
• Sunday: 09:30–16:15

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about good food and takes pride in every plate that leaves the kitchen.

You’ll ideally be:

• An experienced Chef de Partie or a strong Commis Chef ready to take the next step
• Passionate about fresh, honest and well-prepared food
• Calm, organised and reliable under pressure
• Confident working independently on your section
• A team player who enjoys working in a busy kitchen
• Committed to maintaining high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness
• Positive, hardworking and keen to contribute to the wider kitchen team
