Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) – Full-Time (42 Hours per Week)

Location: Forest Manor Nursing Home
Hours: 42 hours per week
Contract: Fixed-Term (Maternity Leave Cover)
Pay: £22 per hour

At Forest Manor Nursing Home, we are committed to providing outstanding, person-centred care in a safe, welcoming and supportive environment. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our experienced team on a fixed-term basis to provide maternity leave cover.

This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about making a positive difference to the lives of older people while working as part of a supportive and professional team.

About the Role

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents receive high-quality nursing care that promotes their health, wellbeing, dignity and independence. You will be responsible for assessing, planning and evaluating care, administering medications, and providing clinical leadership and support to the wider care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of nursing care in accordance with NMC guidelines and best practice.

  • Assess, plan, implement and review individualised care plans.

  • Administer medication safely and effectively.

  • Monitor residents' health and wellbeing, responding promptly to any changes in condition.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records and documentation.

  • Support, supervise and mentor care staff during shifts.

  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.

  • Promote residents' dignity, choice, independence and quality of life.

  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, infection control, health and safety, and company policies.

  • Contribute to maintaining a positive, caring and professional environment within the home.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • A valid NMC registration (RGN, RMN or RNLD).

  • A caring, compassionate approach and a genuine passion for elderly care.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
