Engagement Officer

Location: London/Hybrid - 2 days/week working from our London office

Contract: Full-time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Salary: £37,524 - £43,352 pa (including Location Allowance of £4,500)

The General Dental Council (GDC) is seeking an organised and proficient administrator to play a key role in supporting its stakeholder engagement across the UK.

As Engagement Officer, you will take the lead on the logistical arrangements for face-to-face stakeholder opportunities and supporting the GDC's programme of engagement by delivering effective events, conferences and virtual and in-person meetings.

Your key responsibilities will include:

- Providing effective administration support for all the stakeholder engagement workstreams
- Providing administrative and logistical support for key events including the Dental Leadership Network and external conferences
- Supporting engagement with the GDC’s external audiences including strategic partners, dental professionals, dental students and patient groups across the UK
- Maintaining the GDC stakeholder engagement tools including: the shared inbox, stakeholder lists and meeting databases

You will possess excellent planning and organisational skills, paired with an ability to manage conflicting priorities effectively. You will demonstrate previous experience in administration as well as evidence of events management. You will be able to evidence an excellent working knowledge and understanding of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel, along with a good working knowledge of content management systems.
