Full job description

We're an early staged UK Fintech company, focused on solving data challenges across the wealth management industry. We're looking for an experienced data-focused backend developer to help supercharge our product, integrations and APIs.
In return, we offer a chance to shape not just a product, but an eco-system of micro-services from the ground up.We're looking for someone who is:

  • Passionate about data, tech and efficiency
  • UK Based (although the role is still remote)
  • Experienced with Laravel / PHP (10.x / 8.1 +) and MySQL
  • An expert with APIs, data, transformations and calculations
  • Strong experience with data optimisation:
  • ETL System Development (Extract, Transform, Load)
  • API development and integrations
  • Data analytics
  • TDD - phpunit/pest
  • SOLID Design Principles
  • Experienced with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS preferred)
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration
  • A fast mover who isn't afraid to test, learn and iterate (agility and curiosity are key to everything we build!)

Nice to have:

  • Experience in smaller companies, start-ups or fast paced tech environments
  • Prior experience in the FinTech or Wealth Management domain
  • Familiarity with Snowflake

Must have a minimum 5 years experience with PHP and ideally 2+ years with Laravel, and love to developing new integrations!
