Overview

We are seeking skilled and dedicated Painters to join our team. This role involves applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to various surfaces within construction and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting, possess excellent communication skills, and be capable of working independently or as part of a team. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to high-quality projects while developing your skills in a professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper paint adhesion
  • Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
  • Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently
  • Ensure a smooth and even finish on walls, ceilings, woodwork, and other surfaces
  • Maintain a clean work area and dispose of waste materials responsibly
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding project progress or issues
  • Assist with surface repairs or minor carpentry tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction painting or related field is preferred
  • Valid driving licence is advantageous for transporting equipment or materials to sites
  • Good command of English language for clear communication on-site
  • Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift light to moderate loads
  • Organised with attention to detail to ensure high-quality finishes
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional attitude towards health and safety standards

Pay: £17.00-£18.00 per hour
