Specialist Paperhanger / Painter & Decorator

£20.66 per hour PAYE
Permanent, full-time – 36.75 hours per week
Stirling and surrounding area

JD Smith & Sons is looking for a genuinely experienced specialist paperhanger to become our go-to person for high-quality wallcovering projects.

We offer:

  • £20.66 per hour PAYE
  • Permanent, secure employment
  • Weekly pay
  • Monday–Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm
  • Friday finish at 2:30pm
  • 28 days’ holiday, including public holidays
  • Workplace pension
  • Weekend overtime paid at time-and-a-half
  • Annual pay review and long-service premium
  • Steady, mostly indoor work in quality private homes
  • An established family business with work booked ahead

You must be confident preparing surfaces, setting out patterns and hanging valuable or technically demanding wallcoverings to an excellent standard. You must also be an experienced all-round painter and decorator, as the role includes general decorating between paperhanging projects.

A full UK driving licence is required.
