Hours: 36 hours per week (12pm finish every Friday)

Earning potential: Guaranteed weekly wage with opportunity to earn £650-800 per week with bonus!

About the Role

Bell Planned Fife is seeking an experienced and motivated Painter & Decorator to join our team in Fife on a full-time, permanent basis.

This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a well-established and respected organisation, working on a variety of planned maintenance and refurbishment projects. We offer a great work-life balance with a 36-hour working week and a 12pm finish every Friday.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out all aspects of painting and decorating work to a high standard.
  • Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, and priming.
  • Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other decorative finishes.
  • Measure, cut, and hang wallpaper and wall coverings.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in line with quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area.
  • Liaise professionally with customers, colleagues, and site management.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven trade-specific experience as a Painter & Decorator.
  • Experience in wallpaper hanging and decorative wall coverings.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable Requirements

  • Experience in Ames Taping.
  • Experience working within planned maintenance or social housing environments.
