Decorator – Wallpaper Specialist

WCR Construction Ltd is hiring a skilled Decorator with strong wallpapering experience to deliver a first-class finish on our projects.

WCR Construction is a build, refurb and fitout contractor. We're looking for a decorator who takes real pride in their work and whose finish speaks for itself.

The role

You'll carry out decorating works with a strong focus on wallpaper. Tasks will include:

  • Hanging and installing all types of wallpaper, including lining paper, vinyls, non-wovens, heavyweight and patterned papers
  • Accurate pattern matching, cutting and finishing around fixtures and corners
  • Preparing surfaces to a high standard before papering or painting
  • General painting and decorating as required
  • Leaving work areas clean and tidy

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience hanging and installing all types of wallpaper
  • Work finished to a very high standard, with close attention to detail
  • All your own tools
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work on your own initiative
  • Good communication with the site team and clients
