Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail in every task undertaken.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PAPER HANG
  • Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order, ensuring safety standards are met at all times.
  • Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.

Skills

  • Proficient in construction painting techniques with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good interpersonal skills.
