Overview
This a self employed role, paid through CIS scheme, potential to be employed in the future. The role will require travelling around the UK, with regular overnight stays, depending on where the contracts are.

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Painter/Sprayer to join our team This needs also hand painting brush roller.. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint and coatings in commercial gas stations to various surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our standards. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Other skills can be taught in the company such as vinyl applications and signage installation

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as necessary.
  • Operate spray equipment to apply paint and coatings evenly and efficiently.
  • Ensure proper mixing of paints and adherence to safety protocols while handling chemicals.
  • Inspect finished work for quality assurance, making adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain equipment in good working order, performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting as required.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills

  • Proficiency in English to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
  • Ability to drive and transport materials or equipment as needed.
  • PASMA, IPAF and SPA card would be desirable but not essential
  • Experience in painting techniques, particularly spray painting, is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and an eye for colour consistency.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently when required.
