Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail. Working in occupied and empty properties. A valid driving licence is essential as travel to different job sites will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
  • Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and materials.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working order and report any issues promptly.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.
  • Keep work areas tidy and organised throughout the duration of each project.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction painting or a similar role.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • A valid driving licence is required for travel between job sites.
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
