Job Summary

We are seeking motivated and skilled Sub Contractor Painters and Decorators to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting and decorating services across various internal leisure centres. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance aesthetics, and ensure client satisfaction. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, showcase your craftsmanship, and contribute to beautiful, lasting results.

Duties

  • Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling holes, and applying primers to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Apply paints, varnishes and decorative finishes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to complete work efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members to coordinate tasks and clarify requirements.
  • Use a variety of tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, scaffolding, and ladders to execute decorating tasks.
  • Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly.
  • Complete work within designated timelines while maintaining high standards of quality.

Skills

  • Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Ability to operate driving vehicles or equipment necessary for transporting materials or accessing job sites.
  • Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and convey information effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering flawless finishes.
  • Good physical stamina for standing, climbing ladders, lifting materials
  • Knowledge of safety procedures related to painting equipment and working at heights.
  • Ability to collaborate well within a team environment while working independently when required.
