Full job description

South Cumbria Construction Ltd is a well-established family company, with roots back to the 1850’s who are experienced in delivering high quality work on a variety of construction works.

Due to long-term work and company growth, we are looking for an experienced and skilled painter and decorator to join our team.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday. Our standard working week is Monday - Friday between 8.00am - 4.30pm.

The successful candidate must be able to work within a team or alone using their own initiative.

A full clean driving licence is essential with no driving bans within the last 10 years and a valid CSCS card is preferred.

Any offer of employment is subject to a DBS check

The role includes domestic and commercial work for both existing and new customers across South Cumbria. Our typical works are refurbishments and maintenance.

Starting pay is £14.00 per hour and is dependent on experience and qualifications.

22 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (we close over the Christmas period).

Company pension and accident/life cover (after qualifying period).

Company van (for work use only).

PPE allowance (after qualifying period).
