The Role: Experienced Painter & Decorator
We’re currently seeking a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to support our growing void refurbishment programme. You’ll be responsible for delivering high-standard redecoration works across a variety of social housing properties.
You’ll work independently and as part of a friendly, professional team—helping bring properties back to life and ready for new tenants.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out high-quality painting and decorating works in domestic settings
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, and priming to a professional standard
- Ensure attention to detail on all finishes – internal and external
- Drive to various job sites, managing your time and workload effectively
- Maintain clear communication with clients, ensuring their expectations are met
- Keep tools and equipment in safe, working order
- Use our digital WorkPal system to log live job updates, upload progress photos, and keep all WIP (work in progress) accurately recorded and up to date
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 year of professional experience in painting & decorating (void property experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship
- Good communication skills and a customer-first approach
- Health & Safety awareness
- Comfortable using mobile devices and work apps such as WorkPal
- A valid DBS check (or willingness to complete one)
- Full UK driving licence preferred
